Synopsis of Part 1

Envisioning Harvard and Devens in the Future - Part 1
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Place: Harvard Unitarian Church
This is the first in a series of workshops that focus on Harvard at some future time, either retaining historic boundaries and reintegrating Devens, or with Devens as a separate town or part of Ayer and/or Shirley. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served.

This workshop will look at the first alternative. Planners will present various issues relating to full jurisdiction returning to Harvard. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers, with the planners offering their perspectives. Guest speakers will be Judith Barrett and Larissa Brown. Ms. Barrett is a planner with Community Opportunities Group and was the project lead on the recent Harvard Master Plan. Ms. Brown is a planner with Community Design Partnership and was the project lead of the five-year review of the Devens Reuse Plan.
