After careful consideration and with great disappointment, the League of Women Voters of Harvard (LWVH) and the Harvard Schools Trust (HST) announce the cancellation of the 49th Annual Harvard Flea Market, originally scheduled for October 10, 2020. 

The difficult decision to cancel was made after thorough evaluation, prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved … our longtime supporters, our vendors, our steadfast volunteers, and our community. Based upon the best national, state, and local guidelines available today, increased virus recurrence, and fall virus projections, we believe this is the wisest and safest decision for all concerned.

Financially, cancellation is a severe blow both organizations who depend on annual Flea Market revenue. Please consider a donation to the League or to the Schools Trust in light of this cancellation and the pandemic, so that we may continue our essential work in this pivotal election year and a year in which student support is such a vital need. 100% of all donations go directly to LWVH and HST community efforts and grants.

We thank everyone who supports, enjoys, and loves the Harvard Flea Market as much as we do. We look forward to bringing everyone safely together again, hopefully in 2021, to celebrate the very finest of the Harvard Flea Market traditions for at least another half-century!
